How to wash cars correctly without producing any scratches
- Do not wash the car in the sun as water will evaporate and dry up rapidly, leaving water stains on car the paint.
- Do not use sponges for washing cars as grime will fix in the perforated holes of the sponge which will then be transferred to the car. Use a soft cloth for washing and wiping instead.
- Wash your car with car shampoo to preserve paints. Avoid using car shampoo with wax contents because it will attract dust to stick easily on the surface and fogs when the car is parked in sunlight. Most importantly, do not use detergent or hair shampoo to wash your car because it will damage the paint.
- When the car has been washed, wipe it with a dry and soft cloth immediately, so there will be no water stains, marks or dust on the surface.
- Do not use a feather broom or brush for cleaning the surface of the car as they contain dust and sand particles which will scratch the paint. The best cleaning method is sprinkling water to wash.
- Change the water used for washing your car regularly as dust and grime will collect in old water which can then be transferred to your car.
